Individual Therapy

At Moving Forward we have therapists that can work individually with your child, adolescent or you in adult therapy. We can work individually with you to help you or your child through play and talk therapy to decrease anxiety, depressive symptoms, transitional issues; such as moving schools, separation or divorce or developmental transitions to name a few. Our therapists practice using several modes of therapeutic theories, primarily cognitive behavioral theory and the strengths based perspective. However, we integrate theories to best meet the needs of the client, including solution focused theory, attachment theory and self psychology to name a few. Each therapist can discuss with you what you may need to work on to help you find the best solutions and quickest solution to your needs at your initial intake. Our individual sessions typically run for 60 minutes.
