As therapists working with young children we are able to use play therapy to assist children as young as 2 years old to work through individual struggles. These disruptions can be caused to early trauma, attachment issues or general developmental issues. Our therapists at Moving Forward, PLC are also able to work with parents who are struggling with parenting their strong will child to help them to foster and develop patterns in parenting that lead to confidence and better forms of attachment and development for their child. Individual play therapy with the child and meeting with parent or caregiver toward the end of a 60 minute session for 10 minutes will help to fix these struggles for all involved.
